I gotta hand it to Flotrack. They've turned into the #1 resource for athlete interviews and race footage. This interview with Kara Goucher is a bit long for some people (10+ minutes) but the topics they cover are great. I didn't realize how Kara finished at the 2004 Olympic Trials, nor some of the ups and downs she went through just this season.
If nothing else, I think all runners should listen to what she has to say about responsibility at the 4:39 mark of the interview. It's spot on and an attitude that, if you don't have it now, you need to develop it if you're going to be great at whatever you do. She also has great things to say about persisting through adversity and taking risks. Enjoy!
